First Rod and Reel

Grandpa Al gave holdon a fishing pole kit and a hat the says "Shallow Water Angler." It's totally cute he also got a ton of worms and fishing gear stuff. Holdon found a book about Salt Water fishing flies that were on the table and Holdon said he wanted one of those and I told him he could ask Grandpa and he would make him one. his eyes lit up and he said "he can make them!?" Al took him into the shop and tied two flies that day for him and a few others everyday there after holdon would sit in the chair next to him and ask questions the whole time what kind of Glue are you using "Ass atone and clear Finger nail polish" Al said and holdon would repeat it ass atone. It was so awesome to see he and Al working together and Holdon engrossed in something new and unexpectingly excited about fishing stuff!

Playground by my moms house

Boardwalk on Washington Harbor

The Awaking This statue used to be in a different location and it was moved to the Washington Harbor. When I was little we used to go play and climb all over it and stick dirt or bark chips up it's nose and pretend like he sneezed all over us.

This is Holdon inside the butterfly exhibit in the Natural History Museum. You would go inside this sealed room and walk around and all these different butterflies would flutter all around you landing on you or just by you . You were not allowed to touch the butterflies though they could touch you. Holdon was sooo good but this is a moment of temptation to touch one that I captured and I thought it was so funny! At first he was just standing there admiring it like cool check it out then his hand came up on the ledge and he still was in aw that the butterfly still hadn't flown away and his hand he carefully placed just next to it and then started to tap his fingers like look I'm not touching it, see!
