Today we got up had waffles (of coarse) and got dressed and called and talked to Peggy, Nikolia and Gabrielle's Mom. We had scheduled for a play date this morning so she could continue teaching me how to knit and to let the boys play. I thought since we had the sun out and no appointments today we should take full advantage of the outdoors today! A nice chance to get out and do something we haven't done here yet! THE WATERFALL....Everyone always talks about how cool youngs river falls is so we decided to go check it out today!
Jason and I tried to find it yesterday With little to no success. Before heading out on our scavenger hunt we went to a friends to help her out with her house, dishes and folded laundry swept the floors and cleaned up the place a bit so she could put her one and a half year old and 2 and a half year old down for a nap as well as herself. It's something I signed up to do in church to help out and I'm so glad I did it didn't take long but it was nice to help someone out. The friend we were helping out has been getting chemotherapy treatments for melanoma cancer. She's doing well thus far but it still takes a lot out of her.
Any hoo y the waterfalls were soooo pretty and awesome! I guess from what Peggy said that the water was much higher then she'd seen before and the falls were much more swollen than she'd ever seen as before as well. Tis the season I suppose but It was really nice and the boys threw rocks and climbed trees and there's a pretty sweet cave to climb around in as well.
Got to go baby crying!
